Meet The Doctor

Oral Surgeon Charles I. Dunlap, DDS

Dr. Charles I. Dunlap was born in Memphis, TN and graduated from Rhodes College in 1970. He then attended and graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in 1975. Dr. Dunlap did his residency training in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery in Jacksonville, Florida at University Hospital. He completed his training at University Hospital, Jacksonville Hospital Educational Program in 1979.

He was on the faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for 18 months before moving to Chattanooga, TN. Dr. Dunlap has been in private practice in the Tennessee Valley area since 1981. His specialty is in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He obtained his board certification from ABOMS in 1982 and is a fellow in the AAOMS. Dr. Dunlap is also a Diplomat to the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Dunlap is licensed in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. He is affiliated with most of the major hospitals in the area.
